Hello! My name is Timothy Ellis. I grew up in Wilmington and later moved to Southport, NC. I am a proud graduate from UNCW. In my younger days, I worked as a carpenter. We built beach houses on Bald Head and Oak Islands, NC. I began working as a math educator as an adjunct instructor at Cape Fear Community College in 2007. I took a teaching job at a high school in Martin County, NC at Riverside High School in 2018. I moved to Craven County in 2016 and began working at Craven Early College before transitioning here to West Craven High School. I am excited to be part of Eagle Nation.

I am Brandolyn Holton. This is my 18th year in education. I am originally from Atlanta, GA; however, I moved to New Bern 20+ years ago to marry my high school sweetheart. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance and Business Management, with a minor in Spanish and piano; additionally, I received my teaching certification from ECU and my Master’s in School Administration from App State. My husband, Joey and I have (3) amazing boys (#boymom4life!): Matthew (16), Wes (13), and Nate (7). We are also the parents to (3) fur babies: Beau & Daisy (lab siblings) and Lucy (rescue kitty). Contrary to popular belief, I actually despised math in high school - I am looking to make your experience in our classroom one that is positive and successful. So… let’s work together as a team to make this your best year yet!

My name is Michaela Person. I was born and raised in Vanceboro, NC. I attended East Carolina University to receive a degree in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. I returned to teach at my Alma Mater, West Craven High School. This is my tenth year of teaching. I have a husband, Christopher. I also have two kids, CJ (14) and Makiya (6) I am a sports mom and a dance mom. They keep me busy. Looking forward to a great year. Go Eagles
Sara Tabor
Math 1 and Math 3
Hello! My name is Sara Tabor. My husband, Bradley and I live in New Bern and we have two incredible children. One son (Harrison Tabor) and one daughter (Addyson Tabor). I have taught high school math for the past 15 years. I taught four years at NBHS and this will be my 11th year at WCHS. I graduated from East Carolina University and have a Bachelors of Arts in Secondary Education in Mathematics. I also graduated from West Craven High School and was thrilled to come back and teach at my home high school. I enjoy supporting my kids in their extracurricular actives, swimming, authentic events, and anything that involves spending time with my family. I am excited for another wonderful year of being an Eagle.
