Chiquita Kearney

Extended Content Standards

With over 14 years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, I’ve built a career rooted in compassion, advocacy, and dedication. Since beginning my teaching journey in 2010, I’ve remained passionate about making a meaningful impact on students with exceptional needs. I hold an Associate’s in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship), and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Special Education to deepen my expertise.

I was inspired to teach by witnessing the growth of students others may have overlooked — each step forward, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. I believe all students can learn, achieve, and thrive with the right support, structure, and encouragement. As a high school EC teacher, I bring hands-on experience, a nurturing presence, and the ability to connect deeply with students and families. I value collaboration, creative problem-solving, and inclusive practices that build confidence and independence. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering classroom where every student feels seen and capable of discovering their strengths. I’m excited to keep growing in this field and contribute to a school community committed to excellence and equity.

Victoria Moody

ISS Coordinator

I bring over 30 years of experience working with children, including 20 years dedicated to supporting children with autism in self-contained settings. I hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor’s in Theology, and advanced degrees in Family and Marriage Counseling, Christian Counseling, Sacred Studies, and Theology. I am currently pursuing my PhD. I have a deep love for children with autism and embrace the challenge of learning to “speak their language” to connect with them meaningfully. My passion lies in empowering all children to discover their strengths and become the best versions of themselves.
