Ronald Brewer
Advanced Manufacturing 1 & 2
My name is Ronald Brewer and I am the Advanced Manufacturing and Drones instructor here at West Craven High School. This is my 8th year as a teacher here at West Craven. Before beginning my teaching career, I spent many years working various manufacturing roles, most recently as a production supervisor. I am excited to share my knowledge with the students in my classes and help them learn more about this growing career field.

My name is Thomasine Dudley, and I am an educator at West Craven High School. I possess an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Craven Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Organization from the University of Mount Olive, as well as a Master’s degree in Executive Leadership. With fifteen years of teaching experience in Craven County Schools, I am dedicated to making a positive impact on students’ lives. My guiding principle is to develop students into effective leaders and to empower those leaders to become agents of change within their communities.

I graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2011 with a B.A. in Sound Design. After working for several years as an Audio Engineer, I went back to school. I graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology from Austin Peay State University. I worked several more years as an Audio Engineer before becoming a mother. In 2021 I became the West Craven Tennis Coach. I joined West Craven High School's teaching staff in 2023 as an Engineering Teacher. I am excited about teaching the engineers of the future.I graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sound Design. After several years of working as an Audio Engineer, I decided to continue my education and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Austin Peay State University. Following this, I worked for a few more years as an Audio Engineer before becoming a mother. In 2021, I took on the role of West Craven Tennis Coach. I joined the teaching staff at West Craven High School in 2023 as an Engineering Teacher, and I am excited about inspiring the engineers of the future.

Career Development Coordinator
I serve as the Career Development Coordinator and Head Softball Coach at West Craven High School. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education from the University of Mount Olive in 2019 and went on to complete my Master’s in Educational Leadership, along with my Administrative License, from Gardner-Webb University in 2023. Before serving as a CDC, I taught Agriculture for 5 years in Pamlico and Stanly County.
Keith Morris
Public Safety 1 and Firefighter Technology 1
Mr. Keith Morris is a proud West Craven High alumni and holds a Bachelor of Science
in Business Administration Degree from East Carolina University. Mr. Morris teaches
firefighter certification and Public Safety courses here at West Craven High. He is
credentialed as a Level II instructor by the North Carolina Fire & Rescue Commission
qualified to teach Firefighter Certification and Hazardous Materials Operations
Certification courses. He continues to volunteer as a firefighter for the Vanceboro Rural
Volunteer Fire Department having previously served as Chief of the department for ten
years. Mr. Morris is credentialed as a Paramedic by the North Carolina Medical Care
Commission and serves as the Captain of the Vanceboro Rescue Squad. Mr. Morris
lives in the Piney Neck suburbs of Vanceboro with his wife Toni. They have three
children and three grandchildren.
Agriculture Mechanics 1 & 2
I am the Horticulture and Agricultural Mechanics instructor and one of the FFA advisors here at West Craven High. This is my 17th year teaching and I very much enjoy teaching my curriculum and my students. I love growing plants, building things, and growing and building leaders. I earned my bachelor's degree in agricultural education from North Carolina State University in 2009 and continue to learn something new every day. When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.
Amy Spence
Nursing & Health Science 2
I am an Alumna of West Craven High School. I obtained my Associate Degree Nursing license in 2012, and started my career with Craven County Schools in 2012 as a school nurse for Bridgeton Elementary School. After a few years, I began sharing my school nurse time between Bridgeton Elementary School and West Craven Middle School. I returned to school myself and added a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2015. After being a school nurse for about 6 years, I moved to teaching at WCHS in 2018.
I completed my Professional Educator’s license in 2021. I am married and have 3 wonderful children, who all attended WCHS as well, and two amazing granddaughters. Here at WCHS, I teach Health Science, Nursing Fundamentals and Medical Assistant. I am dedicated to sharing my love and knowledge of the healthcare field to inspire students that also have an interest in healthcare. I have been the advisor for the HOSA, SkillsUSA, and Project Unify clubs. I oversee 1-3 blood drives a school year with the help of my students to save lives and offer a Red CrossScholarship to a graduating senior.

Hello, My name is Kristin Toler. I have been teaching here at WCHS for 5 years, I teach Foods I & II, and Counseling & Mental Health. I am an alumni of West Craven High School. I completed my BS in Baking & Pastry and Food Service Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am certified in Family & Consumer Sciences Education. I also carry many other certifications. In my free time I love spending time with my family, as I am a mom to a son who is almost 8, and a daughter who is 2. Gardening and anything to do with the great outdoors is where you will find me.
