Montrell Lee
Principal
Excited for another great school year at Eagle Nation! I am a graduate of The Citadel with a Bachelors of Science degree in Physical Education. I started my professional educational career as a physical education teacher at West Craven Middle School in 2008. During my time serving at West Craven Middle School, I served as the co-head football coach and head coach of basketball, soccer, and track.
I earned my Masters degree from Gardner Webb University. In 2014, I transitioned from WCMS to WCHS as an assistant principal. Recently, I served as principal of Grover C. Fields Middle School for the 2020-2021 school year.
I am passionate about influencing young people. I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve the Western Craven communities.

Dr. Nannette Walston-Moore
Assistant Principal
I am an Alumna of West Craven High School and started my educational career at West Craven Middle School. I dedicated nine years of my career as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher and also contributed her skills in various support positions at West Craven Middle as an AVID Coordinator, a member of the Community Goal Team on the School Improvement Team, and the coach for Cheer, Women’s Basketball, and Boys and Girls Track. I completed two years as an Assistant Principal at Havelock High School and have returned to the Westside in 2023. I am excited to join the Eagle Family and I am most excited about learning and growing as a leader under wonderful leadership. I also look forward to working with the teachers, students, and the community to ensure the success of our students.

Dr. Stefanie King
Assistant Principal
Dr. Stefanie King has served in the profession of education for 31 years. She received her Bachelor's in English Education from East Carolina University and holds two Master's Degrees-Curriculum and Instruction (and) Supervision and Administration from the University of Phoenix. Her start in teaching high school English was at West Craven High School (where she was a graduate) and then as an Assistant Principal. She later was elected for two consecutive terms as a Craven County School Board member while teaching 7th grade ELA at Ayden Middle School. Dr. King then transitioned to her role as Assistant Principal at the same school in Pitt County. Proudly, with humbleness she returned home to serve as the Principal of West Craven Middle School (2022-2024). Her future goals include starting a Bible College where her two greatest passions meet = Education and the Bible.
